GuardianJobs – Just Say No to bad CV advice
Screencult was approached by Guardian Jobs and their partner The Fuller CV to develop a viral video campaign that would highlight The Fuller CV’s professional advice service.
- Video:
- Client:
- Guardian Jobs
- Format:
- Internet Viral Videos
- Running time:
- 90 secs (x5)
- Year:
- 2009
- Objective:
Screencult was engaged to produce video content for an upcoming campaign by The Fuller CV and The Guardian.
- Approach:
We established what the key messages should be and brainstormed ideas around how to get those across to the target audience. It was then decided that the videos should take on a viral aspect, with a comedy slant, able to engage the younger audience comfortable with the web. Several concepts were developed and through further workshops, the ‘Just say No’ to bad CV advice was chosen. From this, several scripts were developed around the call to action. These were then shot in 5 episodes.
- Result:
The final videos were uploaded to the Fuller CV YouTube channel and website and the GuardianJobs YouTube channel. Screencult produced and developed the episodes in 10 weeks.
HITS: over 20 000
- Testimonial:
“Screencult demonstrated perfect vision and understanding of the target audience for Guardian Jobs. They produced 5 short videos which were both entertaining and informative for potential jobseekers taking CV/Career advice. The final results were delivered on budget, on time and at a quality that was above videos we had provided in house. I am happy to recommend Screencult to any of my contacts and I look forward to working with them in the future”
